Following three adventurous sweaty days in Rome, our clan of travelers got our backpacks on a train and headed for Florence. The city was a favorite from the moment we stepped off the train and once we got to the hostel we all took deep sighs of relief. We immediately discovered Florence is a small community minded town with an amazing Italian restaurant a couple doors down and a market full of leather three streets away. Apart from the shopping and walking of Florence, we spent many hours n the Uffizi Museum trying to absorb the full beauty of rooms and rooms of religious and Renaissance art.
This building has made its mark in my life as the most impressive and outstanding piece of architecture my eyes have seen. I wish everyone could partake in seeing it for themselves- it was unreal.
